Do all of your reading assignments and take lots of shorthand notes in class. Not an easy class but worthwhile. He gives you a lot of chances for make up points and Bonus points on all quizzes and tests. Nice guy. He has been doing this for a long time and it shows.Plenty of time for Q&A. If you dont do well in this class its your own fault!

Honestly, this was the worst college professor I have ever had. He was very dry, and also he would abuse the use of showing history videos that were almost as boring as he was. He is very hard, which isn't a huge problem but he treats students in the classroom with no respect, and I felt like I was in High School all over again.

If you have ever wondered what Bill Gates and Ben Stein would look like if they were fused as one, you would get Mr. Innes. As long as you take notes, and come to class on a regular bases, you should be fine. Study the packet thing and take A LOT of notes and you should be fine. A lot of information coming at you from all sides... be prepared...

I'll admit, he does know his history. But be prepared to work hard! I studied 3 hours learning at least 50 definitions and reading 30 pages every night in order to get a 4.0! Make sure to review old quizzes for the final, the final is literally comprised of the old quizes. Not an easy class when you take it from Innes.

Hands down the most boring lecture class I have ever taken. Try your hardest not to fall asleep, because he will give you most of the terms you need to know during the lectures. Be sure to go through the book as well and you'll do fine. Managed to finish with over 100% in his class.

This guy is a trip. He has been teaching this subject so long, he has all the lectures memorized. Sometimes its hard to stay awake, but he does occasionally throw in some humor. Overall, if you pay attention and show up most of the time, you will do fine. He gives out loads of E.C.

super easy class, great extra credit opportunity, as long as you listen you will do well on the tests, he even gives out the exact essay question for the midterm and final tests and lets you show him your roughdraft so he can tell you if you are on the right track and it's worth half of the points. it was great

Professor Innes really does know his stuff, but he seems to have a diffcult time understanding that others don't get history the way he does. His tests are also a bit tricky, but overall if you study you should be fine.

Really boring class and hard to take notes. Buy his study guide and ask about the terms at the bottom of each section. Don't be afraid to ask or see him in his office hours. He will help you if you ask for it.

Innes' class is challenging but rewarding. As long as you show up to class and review your notes before each test you'll do fine. He wants to see his students succeed and gives so much freaking extra credit on each test there are no excuses for a failing grade.

This was probably the worst history class that I have taken. Prof. Innes didn't really teach anything, and his tests were a little obscure, yet easy enough that I passed his class with over 100%. If you like history, don't take this class from Prof. Innes, it will sour your experience.
