The best way to describe is "indifferent," or perhaps "uninspired." He taught his course and went home. Rarely available for consultation. I've had better profs, I've had worse.

SO BORING. Note are from presentations, and make almost no sense. Couldn't tell how all the info tied together. Seems like he tests on random facts, so it's hard to study. He's a really nice guy, though, but his "jokes" are unwelcome at 8:30 AM. I hear he's retiring soon, though, so hold off and hope you can get a different instructor.

Class was quite boring unless this is your sort of thing. Tests are rather hard so definitely study both the notes and the book. He does offer plenty of extra credit opportunities, however. And he seems to understand most student don't like the class so he eases up some mornings as well as being interactive.

good teacher. funny at times, way too perky in the morning, a little boring sometimes but mostly keeps it interesting. study for the tests- a lot. they're a lot harder than the actual material. overall, though, he's a really good guy. if you have to take cog psych, i recommend him.

I thought he was a nice guy, and his classes are not too boring. The tests are from the notes and book, and are very fair. As long as you study you can pull out a B, although I think an A would be pretty hard to get.

VERY boring as well as his tests are based on some info. that he does not cover in class or in the notes or text. Also the research projects are very unclear and difficult.

Good class. Lectures a bit boring at times, but tolerable. Tests are short answer and very fair, good test of whether you know the general idea or not. Dr. Fischler is a fair grader, far more than most psych professors I have had.

Not only was it extremely boring & hard, but I found him to be pretty rude.I visited him during office hours to get further explanation about a research project and his response was:I don't know what everybody's problem is,this is pretty self explanatory. Then gave a couple nods and turned away. Yuck!
