Dr. Z is one of my all time favorite teachers at NMU. He is such a nice guy. The class consists of 4 exams and no homework. You will not need the book for the class. Every class consists of a powerpoint. Just show up to class, take notes and pay attention and you will have no problem getting a good grade in the class.

Dr. Z is extremely nice as all the comments say but his clarity is not very good. If you want to pass his class write down EVERYTHING said in class and read all chapters (because that is where most of your information will come from not the lectures).

I wish I were still a business major so that I could take more classes with Dr. Z. He's the most sincere and kind professor I've ever had. The class is simple, 4 exams, nothing more or less. He gives a study guides for each one.

Dr. Z is the nicest professor I have ever had. This is a fairly easy class and if you do miss class it is not a big deal. The tests come from material that is right out of the big book. Keep in mind that this class consists of nothing but 4 exams. If you are not a good test taker you may want to consider the alternatives.

After reading all of the previous comments, it's hard to say something that hasn't already been said about Dr. Z. He is a great professor and a great man. He honestly cares how you are doing and is very kind; he even thanks you after you share information with the class. I recommend taking him at while at NMU.

Dr. Z is a kind, helpful, and personable man. If you do not understand something, ask him, and he can make it totally clear for you. Go to class, listen and take notes during lectures, and read the chapters, and you will probably get an A. He makes everything easy to understand, even if you know nothing about marketing.

Dr. Z is a wizard at making multiple choice tests ( he may have a degree in it). Which is unfortunate because all 4 of his tests are multiple choice. Also there is no homework, extra credit, or attendance included into the final grade. Besides that he is a good fellow! Weigh your options!

He is very nice but doesn't seem to care if he comes to class or if anyone does. I didn't learn a thing from him and wasn't motivated to come to his class at all. His lectures were so boring that i couldn't even pay attention. This was by far my worst class ever and i would not recommend it to anyone. Complete was of my time and money.

Yes he does get scatterbrained often, but it really doesn't matter because you can bring your laptop to class. Go to class and listen and you will get an easy A....or if you get to know him you can get an A also. I enjoyed this class and the profe.

He's a great prof.! Go to class for extra hints even though he doesn't require you to. You'll remember a lot more & he stresses the big points so you'll remember even more. This class is 4 exams & nothing more. No extra credit...so go to class & study & you'll do fine.

Ugh. He's a really nice guy and means well, but he's the most scatterbrained guy I've ever met. Goes way off base in his lectures which especially sucks at 8am. The material is easy enough but when he doesn't explain it well its tough to get a good grade on the tests. Take the class with someone else if at all possible.

First it was only a 25min class. Second that meant no midterm and only a take home final. The class was fun and it felt alot like a current events course of the marketing world. Appear interested, respond to article, read article, and you'll get an easy A for a 1cr class. Sorry, but haven't had him in other classes yet.

He is VERY nice, VERY helpful, and my VERY favorite professor at NMU. He is intellingent and creative and a lot of fun to have. Sometimes he is a bit behind the times, and seems out of touch, but he makes up for that with his awesome personality. His classes are not an easy A, but they are not killer either, just memorize the notes he gives you.

One of my favorite Profs. He is so funny, upbeat, and all around great guy. He gives great examples and gives the notes online incase you missed them. I usually don't like going to class all that often, but I never missed one of his classes. I will always remember him as one of my best teachers in college.
