Comment:
Professor Cohen is the rudest teacher I have ever taken, but I am glad I took his class. He teaches his class through interesting case studies. The text book is almost unnecessary but his reader is necessary. If I had taken this class from any other teacher I wouldn't remember anything, since he taught through only case studies I remember it all.

Why is this professor even teaching,? I must say I thought the class I was in was going to be great but it was the hardest thing I ever have been in. Was thinking of dropping but it failed. His lectures were hard to understand and has no respect for students with bad handwriting. I am no probation because of his class.

If you can choose another professor, please save yourself and do it. Lectures are about companies and their history of different companies which will be on the tests. Don't get a textbook, you won't need it. No study guide. He mumbles.. moody.. thinks he is approachable but not. Puts you on blast.

His tests are based purely on lecture. He does have a thick accent so recording the lecture to fix your notes later will really help. You don't need the book or the course reader if you show up to class and take notes. The final was take home consisting of four questions requiring a short response.

Do NOT buy the textbook! His exams are purely on the Reader. Show up to class, because his exams are based on his lecture. Simply put, don't show up to class you do not pass.

Doesn't believe in technology. Asks questions in class, but misunderstands a lot and doesn't get clarification therefore thinks that what is being said is incorrect. Immediately dismissive of ideas that don't match what he believes. I got the highest grade on the midterm, and barely got an A-. He doesn't curve, and is very strict on the project.

He has a very difficult accent to understand. one group project, 3 exams and one final. His tests are mostly on his lectures, very minimal on the actual textbook, so make sure you attend the lectures, take notes and read the book he sells of the articles.

I took this class even after reading all the negative feedback on here. However, This class is very easy. There are 2 midterms and a final. The exams are based on the notes. Just going to class and taking good notes will help you pass the course.

Dont know why there's such negative feedback, the class was easy. No homework except reading. Gives 2 midterms and final, optional extra credit and project to help boost your grade. The tests are straightforward and are almost word for word what he said in class. If you are capable of showing up to class and paying attention this is an easy A.

He's not as bad as everyone thinks.. but DO NOT buy the text whatever you do.. he goes over everything in class anyways and uses maybe 20 pages from the whole text. The reader is where he gets 99% of his lectures from. No homework, assignments, class participation. All that counts for your grade are 2 midterms and 1 final and 1 optional project.

HE IS DISCRIMINATION! If u speak NATIVE ENGLISH,dont read this,if not,u should consider! He'll treat u like you would never able to understand a freakin thing he said, even though his accent is extremely strong and he won't ever realize that!To be honest,he might not a hard grader, but the way he talks and treats u will make u feel like u'r the worst

Tests are completely from his lecture, so very important one take good notes, possibly even record it. On group project follow exactly what he wants with and you should be fine. I would advice doing the extra credit from wall street journal. Tests students on information they might think is irrelevant. Don't bother asking him questions.

You must go to class in order to do well on the tests. You don't need the book. Reader helps, but he basically goes over everything during lecture. 2 midterms, 1 final, and a optional group proj. Tests aren't hard - the questions are the same as the review ones he has before each lecture. Stutters and has an accent, but he's understandable.

You don't really need to read the book but you do need to come to class every day because his tests are all based on his lectures. Very no-nonsense guy and his test were a bit tricky so you'll have to study. No homework! One project at the end though.

His class is fairly easy. Make sure you go to class and take notes so you can study off them for the tests. There's no homework beyond reading, the entire grade comes from two midterms and a final. He's a really nice guy if you're trying your best in the class but has little patience for slackers. His accent isn't hard to understand.

Just go to class and take notes, read the reader, scan the book if you want and you shall be set. If you're lazy then just study the class notes. He goes over the important parts of the reading and they will be questioned on the exam. There are no written assignments. The extra credit assignment isn't needed. Just go to class and take notes!!!!

DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. $160 and I never used it. Everything presented in the book is also in the reader and repeated in his lectures. You need to show up and take good notes to stand a chance on the tests. He CAN be nice, really (got rid of the final & gave us an easy essay), but don't ask questions unless you want to be verbally attacked. :]

2 Ezam & a Final(33%+33%+33%=100%). Optional extra credit presentation. Studders with his accent a lot so it's hard to take notes. Exams are based on lecture & reader. Don't buy the book because u don't use it. Class is very boring. He's not approachable even in his office. Don't make this mistake & take him because I got a D+.
