Beaney is a great professor for Spanish. During class discussions he is very helpful with understanding, topics, vocabulary, and grammar. Barely put any work in this class and got an A. The only thing that is tedious in the class is the online homework.

I had Dr. Beaney for Spanish, even though hes a German Prof. Dr. Beaney is a great Professor and is always willing to help his students. He will take time to explain whatever needs clarification, takes time to try and get to know his students, and is a fair grader. He wants you to succeed and truly learn the material. Nothing to worry about!

This class was not as scary as I thought it would be. Though Beaney can seem intimidating at first, he is caring and wants to help. You need to participate to survive but if you pay attention and actually try in class you should be fine. He was clear about what would be on the tests.

Very confusing if you have never taken a language. Hard to understnd because he has a low quiet voice, lots of homework. He will help if you ask but he is not very effective.

Dr. Beaney is a great German prof, although his voice can make you a tad sleepy. He explains everything and goes over it several times, but not in an annoying way. He calls on students regularly, but it's never a surprise. He tells students what will be on the test nearly word-for-word, so studying is very easy. Definitely take German from him!

He speaks completely in German, but in a way that is easily understandable. He gives definitions of words in german, which can be confusing, but in the end is better. Very willing to work with students. His voice makes you sleepy though.
