The most pompous, misogynistic person I have ever met. He epitomizes a "know it all" without actually knowing it all. His history at the university is shady at best and word has it that his college actually doesn't know what to do with him because they really don't want him working there, but since he is tenured, they have to let him do something.

He is one of those teachers that you would avoid wearing your seatbelt while driving to class in hopes someone would side swipe you so you could avoid making it to his class. Also if you have an opinion and it differs from his, you are automatically wrong. Like, don't even try.

First impression: stiff hard to understand. Mid semester you'll wish u didnt take the class. End of semester, you will understand anything and everything ull want to know. By far one of the best professors i ever had. He is hard on you because the aviation can cost u your life. He will go out the way after class to help u and he doesnt get paid

Dr. Nettey is one of the only professors who is so invested in his students success that he will network even to help you find a job after graduation, and years after. He definitely is big on "attention to detail" and doing things "the right way". This is a good thing, folks. He sets you up for success and you should listen to his EVERY word!

grilled you for missing one class.Nit-picking at the smallest detail.Worst was, told my class to be there at 7am on finals day to start at 7:15. We all show up, wait til 8:30, no shows. Another prof releases us,9:10 he apparently showed, emailed us all that he had til 9:30am for the window, threatned to fail us all and called us cowards for leaving

Worse professor i have ever had. stay away from his classes if possible. he makes your easiest course, your hardest course. Very intelligent. Does not put up with any disrespectful students. any bad review is from students that didnt like his 100% honest feedback/critique, but it is very helpful to anyone who aknowledges it. teaches you a lot of things everyday and expects you to know them on exam day, as a good instructor should.

If you think you know anything about aviation history think again because you don't know the Doctor Professor Sir Nettey Esq. version of aviation history. This man refuses to accept Pluto isn't a planet because the book from 1980 still says it is and even when given production numbers direct from Boeing says the 727 was most popular when 737 act.

Tough class. Don't bother buying the book, the tests are straight from the notes, literally. You'll have to fill-in-the-blank parts of the notes. Know all acronyms. Class is boring, he just reads off the powerpoint. I wouldn't recommend skipping because the slides/notes aren't available online. Good luck...

Where to start, DONT BUY THE ORANGE TEXTBOOK WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU TO DO. Nettey is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to aviation, he will answer your question, dont get smart with him, he will make you feel like your an inch tall, all tests are straight from notes,somewhat from book.

Horrible professor! He is obnoxiously arrogant, and is condescending towards students. Thinks he knows EVERYTHING and will rudely argue with anyone who corrects him if he's wrong, even if it means wasting class time. Feigned accent is difficult to understand. He is frequently late for class.
