Comment:

Mixed feelings. Really sweet and sensitive to students feedback, but if we are assigned 60 pages to read, she covers about 10 of them in class and expects you to memorize the other 50 for the test. Papers are straight forward. Only three paper, 3-4 pages. I learned a lot because I did a lot of work outside of class.

she teaches once a week and the classes are 2 hours and 45 minutes long... the essays are easy but the tests are impossible!!! every text book you have in the class you read cover to cover to try and learn the material

Dr. Wright was my favorite prof at Creighton. Her 100 class was the whole reason I became a theology major..double with bio. Her classes are not difficult (I took 4) but you need critical thinking skills to take her tests. You cannot just regurgitate information like most students double majoring in theology for the med school application.

Comment:

She starts talking & never gets to the point. She uses so many prepositional phrases that 1 sentence takes 5 minutes. She uses words I'm not sure the dictionary knows. You never really know what she is talking about, because she never has a discussion topic of the day; she just starts talking & writing 1 or 2 words on the board. DON'T TAKE HER!

I really liked Dr. Wright. She is very sensitive to her students personal lives. She uses a lot of movies, but she tries very hard. She is a sweet woman and a fine teacher. Most of it is opinion based.

Can I say fell asleep every day in class. I heard she is great for upper level classes but she should stick to them.
