Comment:

Cook was a difficult professor, however he would help you if you asked. His test are very intense, however he gets most of his test questions from the homework problems he assigns but doesn't pick-up. So the key is to do the homework problems!

Omg, you actually have study in college. :o But seriously, Cook wants to teach his students to think, which requires work for the grade. He gets enthusiastic with math history (it's not on the test) and he knows his stuff (he'll teach you what real pros need in math). If you like math, you'll be fine. If not, ask lots of questions, he'll answer.

This professor SUCKS!!! Dont ever take him unless you are a math major!! He is hard and doesnt help you unless you ask. He flies through every chapter and just to throw out there... 95% of freshman that had him failed. Dont take him!!!

I had him for Math for Liberal Arts majors. He was very nice but assumed everyone was a math major. Hard to understand. Was not very clear & did not go over material unless u had questions & then it only got worse

Cook doesn't dumb down his classes like many teachers at this school do. He teaches at an appropriate level for a college professor. Too many people just want to get an A without putting in any effort. Cook will mock these students. If you put in a modi****of effort, he is surprisingly flexible.

If you ever have a question for him, be careful because he will never give you an exact answer, instead he will make you look dumb in front of the class. It seems as though he enjoys showing he is superior to his students. Also he constantly mentions the Virign Islands and how friendly the students were compared to us (how rude!).
