Kinda boring and dry, but slides are pretty much all you need to do well. Do the HW and get them right since they are a large part of the grade. no need to come to class as he reads straight off the slides.

Very cute, very funny, very nerdy, very nice. Mediocre lecturer but very knowledgeable and caring. Lecture slides helpful for tests. great guy

Very knowledgeable about the topic at hand. His lecture slides are very detailed and great to study off of. His tests are much more difficult so make sure you study. His lectures are super boring so prepared to fall asleep. Do his homework and study his power points and you should do well

The homework is very easy and the paper was pretty easy too. The midterm and final were a pain though because it was literally all from the powerpoints, which were really boring to read and very repetitive. It was the first class I had fallen asleep in, which is really sad because the material doesn't seem that bad.

Comment:

This class was the most boring class I have ever taken in my life. Prof. Moore is a great guy though and is enthusiastic about teaching. It's just the material that's boring and dull. Failed both the midterm and final, but got A's on the one 10-page term paper and 3 hw assignments and still got a C. Your grade is really based on 2 exams and a paper

Comment:

Always brought a can of mountain dew to class. There's no homework, just a midterm and a final which were based straight from his powerpoint slides which he posts online. There is also a final 10 pg paper on any topic relating to the material covered in class. Didn't attend class most of the time and managed an A. Nice and tries to be funny. :}

other reviews are outdated, he does not give any hmwk assignments, just a few readings which i never even read, and a 10 page research paper due at the end of the quarter. Tests are simple enough if you've studied adequately, straightforward, based of the lecture/slide material. I attended class only a handful of time and managed to do fine.

if you read his powerpoints, you can get an A on the Hw, and if you get an A on the Hw, you can get an A in the class. HW is basically what he givs again for midterm and for the final. HW is right off the powerpoint and lecture notes
