Comment:
Dr. Bucco's class wasn't particularly challenging. He requires a study guide that is filled out during class. As long as you do the practice questions at the end of the unit, you shouldn't have any issues with the tests. It all comes straight from the study guide. He's loud, sarcastic, enthusiastic, and his tangents are hilarious.

He takes attendance very serious. If you're late hell make you wait outside until he decides to open the door. Other than that he's not a tough professor, he makes the material interesting. I wish i took it serious and got a better grade.

I can't tell you enough how I love this class. Straight forward and more then fair. I didn't have to take the final because I received more then 90;s on all previous exams. Just study the study guide and do what he tells you to do. And when I got to really meet him in his office is was great.

Great professor for an online class. Tests are in a format where either you know the material or you don't. Only bad thing was he didn't post grades on blackboard (but you know all your grades from the testing center anyways). Also freaked me out a little because he took a long time to put my final grade in. Overall I would recommend taking this.

Took online. If this is the only class you're taking, you should do fine. If not, just be aware the tests are really detailed! Doing the LOs will help but make sure you go over every single detail. The tests are MC but they include none of the above, only A&C, all of the above etc. There is a paper for an A, a book paper for a B. 5 tests & paper

Bucco is intimidating at 1st, but once you get used to him he's pretty funny and interesting. Tests are based off of a study booklet, so it's simple to study but you GOTTA study. I found the quizzes to be harder than the tests themselves, since the tests are multiple choice. Good class to take if you don't like participating and prefer lectures.

One of the best professors I've ever had and met. Had him for both US Hist. 1 and 2. The textbook has everything you need as long as you show up, or at least get notes from someone else (I recommend showing up). He's passionate and good at what he does, very interesting lectures! I'd take him again if I could.

Dr. Bucco is a seriously knowledgeable guy. I've taken two of his history classes and this macroeconomics class, and it is clear he knows the material. He provides a study manual, so the book is not a necessary purchase. I did use mine a few times, but I could have found the information online. If you study, as he suggests, you will pass.

Prof Bucco was amazing! He's very forthcoming on how to pass his class. The manual/study guide will be all you need to pass the class. It's tempting to only study the review in the back of the manual, but you will do MUCH better if you read the manual as if it were a story. He wrote the manual for this class, so why not use it and earn an A?

Enjoyed taking his microeconomics class fall 2015. His lectures are very entertaining and he really seems to care about his students. At times it seems like he does not like to be asked questions about his lectures. But overall if you do what he recommends for his class you will get a good passing grade.

You don't need the actual textbook but he does require the study guide booklet. This is where you fill in the blanks during lecture. Don't miss class bc he doesn't give out notes to anyone. He drops the lowest quiz grade. 5 quizzes, 3 tests, no homework, an occasional essay on the test. If you average an A before the final, you'll be exempt!

If you go to class, take the notes, and study the notes (going back over them and filling out the study guide) this class is a breeze. Clarification is always given. Can be a bit rough around the edges, but very funny and not afraid to say what he thinks. Would take again.

Absolutely a fantastic professor. Exceptionally smart and knows the material like the back of his hand. The best thing about him is he is able to explain concepts and terms perfectly so I could comprehend them. His History class equally insightful and a great learning experience. Not even in the same hemisphere in comparison to my other instructor

Bucco is one of my favorites. he's a little intimidating at first but he is also funny, super sarcastic and passionate about what he does. be ready to memorize a lot. he gives you a book and you fill out the blanks during his lectures. I made a B in his class but it was do to not taking his 40 min study per day rule seriously. STUDY 40 MIn a day!!!

Dr. Bucco is a great professor! I am taking his History II class next semester. His lectures are fun. No dull moments that's for sure. Tests are tough. He doesn't really use the textbook. We mostly did note taking in a workbook listed. He provides all the notes in class so don't be absent!
