Comment:
She is blunt and straight forward, don't take it personally, she also has tons of amazing experience and is great to talk to about future career/internship/experience ideas. She has little patience for students who don't try or don't care in her classes, but is understanding to those who put in the effort about having other (harder) classes.

Comment:
She is rude (when you ask her questions or send her emails). Her slides have multiple grammar mistakes. She is scatter-brained and its hard to guess what will be on her exams as she just rambles on about multiple topics. She is a useless professor. One of the worst you could ever take. Avoid her if you can.

Her tests can be very difficult. You don't know what to study sometimes, and some Qs are random. Great person as stated before though. Get to know her, work with her, understand she is always busy. SHe will teach you more things about life and careers than any other professor. She also can be straight forward, a big strength and weakness.

Mary can be blunt and rude, but she admits that. She is not the best teacher (she admits that) but you can learn so much from her. Having 4+ classes with her, you'll know she is always busy. She preaches the changes we need to adapt to, which is crucial for our careers. She is an amazing person. If you talk to her 1v1 and often, you will understand

I don't think this professor proof-reads her lecture notes! There are so many errors (she get's linoleic and linolenic acid mixed up) in her notes and on the exam. She is also unapproachable and rude.

After having 4 classes with Mary, I've finally been able to understand her teaching style. Yes, she is scatterbrained, but as long as you print the notes and listen to what will be on the tests, you'll do fine. She's had lots of experience and is a great resource. Don't discount her because of her disorganization!

She is fabulous. She may be scatter-brained (slightly) but not enough to hamper learning. She's sarcasitc, hilarious, nice, and genuinely interested in helping students learn. Her tests were not dificult if you just attend class. Taking notes isn't neccessary (I didn't) and don't bother buying the book! She'll tell you all you need to know.

She was a nice lady and I enjoyed her personality, however her teaching style was quite scatter-brained. The notes were far too wordy, and i thought the tests focused too much on details. The good thing though is she's pretty easy and laidback. The lab is definetly fun.

Mary is the nicest, easiest professor! If you go to class, pay attention and print notes she gives you, you'll be fine! Tests are not hard as long as you study plus she tells you what is going to be on the exams. I wish she taught all the nutrition classes

disorganized, crappy (self made)text, spelling/grammatical errors in the text and on the test!! And the teacher might not even show up for the test. This class uses non traditional definitions and concepts...very tough class!!!

She's really easy going. Not one of those teachers that thinks her class is your only class. She makes a welcoming class and is easy to talk to. I would recommend her.
