I feel bad for all of you that won't be able to experience engineering 191 with this man. I'm sure he's just as great at teaching everything else as he is guiding freshman engineers through the ins and outs of college life. You could go to him with any problem in any aspect of your life and he'll figure out a way to help. Great man.

Dr. Byrd is the single best teacher I have ever had in the history of my education. He truly cares for every student of his and makes an effort to help in every way he can. He offers lots of extra credit and his class is solely attendance and homework based. Show up and you will pass class as long as you do the homework too.

I've never met a teacher like Dr. Byrd. He is the kindest man ever!! If it wasnt for him, I never would have found my major, which is something I am very passionate about. I've never met anyone who wanted to help so many people. He is THE MAN! Show up and do one homework assignment per week, and you'll have an easy A.
