I had Dr. Stelly for 2 semesters and am taking him again next semester. He is an awesome teacher and you learn a lot from him. He is a great guy and really wants students to improve. He is an easy grader, and lets you have a lot of freedom with writing. He says attendance counts, but i missed atleast 4 classes and still got an A both semesters.

Awesome guy and a very fair grader, had him for both starting writing classes. If you do your work, you will be rewarded, even if you do screw up a little every now and then. I can't tell you how many times I thanked him for forgiving my huge errors. He's got a great sense of humor for an English teacher, though you might have to be a Lit major to get it. :) Definitely someone to look for if you're an English major of any sort, as he'll help you out a TON in your writing.

Very Nice, Outgoing Professor. My favorite prof. here so far. He grades a bit harder, it hopes that you do better next time. (Which you do- because you learn a lot). I definately liked his teaching and will take him again!
