Comment:

Makes the class sound like a cake walk the first day. After that it's hard as all get out. If your not into computer stuff at all you will have a hard time in this class. I took it for Miami plan and it wasn't anything like it was made out to be. Very disrespectful of students, rude, and doesn't care. Don't take him unless you have to.

He is a nice guy, but going to class is a waste of time. He takes attendance daily, based off of a picture of each student that he takes on the first day of class. He doesn't teach anything, he goes off into stories of his wife and daughters instead. If you don't want to have to teach yourself I suggest getting a different teacher.

Old guy who likes to tell stories more than teach, but that's okay because COBOL is easy to learn and teach yourself. He may not explain everything in class, but if you come to his office hours he is happy to help you on any part of a program. Tests are also easy and you get to use a note sheet on all but the first test. Recommend him anyday.

Dacey is old but still knows COBOL. Easy class. CSA 275 is a bit more challenging and for CS or SA majors.
