Dr, Deibert is an AWESOME professor. His class was a blast and I really enjoyed it. He made Geology very fun to study about. The overall grade comes from the 4 tests taken throughout his class. If you study and work hard, you will do fine in his class.

It is very important to show up to class because you will miss info that will be on the test if you skip (extra credit is sometimes given). The only grades are tests because it is lab, but they are not that difficult, just make sure to test yourself on the rocks and minerals because you have to identify about 15 of each for the test. Good lectures.

The labs are taught from notes that can be found on D2L. You cover a good amount of information in the span of one class period, so it's beneficial to attend class & take notes. The class was an even amount of hands-on and lecture. He is very enthusiastic about his class and is more than happy to help if you are confused about something!

Couldn't ask for a better professor if I picked him out of a catalog! He is very passionate about Geology and does an excellent job sharing it! He makes class interesting and fun! Respect is a big thing to him and that's another reason I like him so much! If you are disuptive he will threaten to ask you to leave. Considering minoring in Geology!

He's one of the best geology professors in the department. He drops one exam grade and three quizzes that are the lowest. He really wants all his students to be successful and learn. you won't need the book just buy an iclicker.

This guy is pretty great. I HATE any science class but he definitely made this class interesting. You don't need the book (but it can be helpful). He teaches straight from the notes on D2L, has 4 tests, lots of quizzes, and will drop the lowest. All you gotta do is show up and study!

FANTASTIC PROFESSOR. Four tests, many quizzes, and daily participation grades. He warns you when quizzes are coming and has a review the last class before each test. He drops 5 participation, 3 quiz, and 1 test grade (excluding the final). He explains things SO well. He realizes that not everyone's a Geology major. Also, he's hilarious. A+++

Professor Deibert is one of the best at Austin Peay..If you want a Professor who TRULY cares about his students well He's it. He made Geology EXTREMELY interesting. His notes are available on d2l to download so guess whats the ONLY thing you have to do??STUDY..thats it...Im taking him or Geo 1050(maymester) and while its fast, Hes great!

Great class! I hated Science but his class was not difficult. if you come to class and bring your clicker, he gives extra credit like crazy. Gives 4 test and is funny. He makes you want to participate. i hate science and i have an A in his class... i recommend to all the PEOPLE WHO WANT EASY A'S!!!

He is very realistic in his expectations. He gives opportunity for extra credit, sometimes for fun things like choosing the winner of the superbowl. He tests almost entirely off of his lectures, so being present will not only get you extra credit sometimes but is necessary.
