Mr. Klett for me was easy to understand and the class for the most part has been pretty easy for me. The other teachers for Accounting do a lot with the computer, Mr klett does not use the computer only 1 problem online. You will handwrite everything in pencil. test are hard but he tells u what to expect, just study the order, math easy.

I thought because of all the positive reviews that this professor would be a good fit for me. I ended up withdrawing from his class after 5 weeks. I did the homework and participated in class (along with studying) and still managed to get a D on his first test. (I'm a A-B avg. student) With no feed back and degrading remarks I dropped the class.

He is not tech savvy so everything is turned in on paper by his standards not the books. He doesn't send an email if he wont be attending class and he was late one class every week for prior commitments and we never stayed in class the full amount of time which would be fine if we understood the content. Just be prepared to teach yourself.

Show up and be prepared to take good notes. Everything he goes over is on the test and gives great examples. "If you do not do the home work you will die" this quote you will hear all through the class. Be prepared and be polite. No gum, hats, or phones. Very good teacher and will always answer questions to help you understand the material.

Come to class prepared!! Bring your textbook and do your homework or you won't pass. He doesn't go over everything that will be on the tests, they are rather hard. He is a great teacher, but you must do your part as a student as well. Or he will bleed all over your work....

It his way or the highway, long lectures. Doesn't go over everything on the test. VERY old school, all accounting is done on paper not online. Assigns ALOT of homework and is not too willing to help. if you don't show up or have your book you won't pass.

Be respectful, show up, do your homeworkread. If you come unprepared for class you will be lost. It was a tough class, but you have to put in effort. Professor Klett knows his stuff. He is always willing to speak to you after class if you need any help. Everyone is expected to participate, so he knows who is doing their homework and reading.

If you are a slacker, DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! He knows what he's talking about and he is a good teacher, but if you don't do the homework and read the chapters you won't make it. He is willing to help if you don't understand, but you have to do your part as well. He is a great teacher for those who are willing to act like grown-ups.

I hated him in the beginning but I loved him at the end. My goal in life is to find something I love as much as Klett loves accounting. He is tough, passionate and helpful. He is old fashioned but very respectful. I have never met a man who loves accounting so much; he screams about the 2 types of capital at a 5:30 pm classes at his age. Wow.

Don't take another professor if you're serious about Accounting/Business! Professor Klett has 30+ years of experience, for you to benefit from. He does take points off unless you follow procedures through to completion; which makes you unwilling to forget any of the steps twice. He's willing to provide extra explanation, and support if needed.

I took class just for another business elective credit, turns out this was the best class I have ever taken at IRSC. Can be tough as a professor, but pay attention,study & do your homework & you will have no problems at all. Has great control over the class, keeps you listening with obsolete jokes that you cant help but laugh.Smart,great professor.

Mr. Klett is an amazing teacher. He is old fashion (manual financial statements) but he knows his stuff! If you really want to learn, and are an accounting major, you NEED to take his class. Studying is not an option! Very fair with the students who dont' do so great on tests. I loved this class and will be taking him in the fall for acct 2.
