awesome prof. actually the only prof i've met that gives a damn about you. too bad he left for vancouver though. got an easy 95 without studying on the final exam overall a+ in the course. compared to my current prof for 115 who doesn't care about you, this guy was the best.

dear lord i do not liek this course but Dr. Macki is a great guy who has your best interests in mind. He is however not the most entertaining and teaches kinda all over the place so its a bit hard to follow sometimes

The first half of having Jack as a prof is HARD. But if you underdstand his unconventional teaching methods. Eventually you find the course easy. I had a B after the first midterm but i finished the course with an A+. He's good but the first half of his course is brutal cuz he's so hard to understand but you learn how to follow him

Get used to him quick...he is kinda hard to understand but if you begin to understand his teaching methods and how he goes about stuff....its pie. I had a B grade after the first midterm....finished the course with an A+. You have to catch on this his weird ways before you're screwed

Jack Macki makes math fun. He knows alot about the history of math and often adds interesting asides to the class. He is retring this semester though... But if he returns I'll be the first enrolled in his class.

Easy to understand, but you CANNOT learn just from his lectures. The class is somewhat difficult, especially if you don't do your practice problems, but Macki is a good professor overall. Posts his material online and responds to emails in a timely manner.

He is the real Superman. He helps students by day does math by night. He teaches on a level no other can compare He knows how to conect with the students. He knows what students have problems with helps with those aswell as gives history aswell
