Orwant is a perfect example of why Universities should evaluate tenured professors. Good guy: yes. Kinda funny: yes. Taught me anything about Writing for Mass Communication? Nope. If you want to learn, don't take him. If you don't--he's your man.

awesome guy, went to class 20% of the time, handed in all assignments on the last day of class without a penalty, never did the tests on the internet, and got a B+. EASIEST CLASS, and such a funny man. He is way out there and entertaining. take it!

First of all...whoever rated him as hot-wtf? I loved his class b/c I have a sense of humor. Although, I learned next to nothing. If you have not problems with ****, religious, or selfish jokes, you'll love him. Take COMM-200 for the comp. lab.

Orwant is a NUT...funny guy, the most laid back teacher ever. he's a little spaced out. get him to read his kinky math poetry. you do nearly nothing in this course lots of entertainment though. Be the one paying attention and you're his favorite.

he is so funny. LOL. his class is rather entertaining. however, is an intro to journalism class supposed to be that way? well you be the judge. i like him personally. however, he's a lil too laid back...but it works for me, the class is a req for SOC.
