Keanini is one of those teachers who shine with interaction. He is willing to humble himself and is excited to learn WITH you, which is one thing I think sets him apart from any other professor I've had at UNCC. He wants you to teach you how to think like an engineer. He grades on only a few things, but all grades were very fair and very clear.

Awesome professor. He really tries to get the students to learn in their own way. Provides lots of extra credit if you take the time to listen and ask questions. His hand writing does suck so it's a good idea to rewrite the notes he provides.

Really smart. Very theoretical. Lots of derivations, real examples are rare. Hand writing so atrocious you would not believe it, making it hard to follow. Seems very nervous and doesn't appear to like teaching. Skips class alot. Easy to get a good grade. He should probably dumb this class down a bit and the net result will be more learned.

Keanini sometimes seems to have too much to worry about to be bothered with teaching. He is nice and very easy and if you do the labs, you will definitely learn a thing or two; but I don't feel like I learned as much as I probably should.

Keanini is extremely nice and flexible (his life is good and he wants to be taken to the river). I think he is a bit too flexible, though. Class was cancelled once every few weeks and half of his lectures were only around 30 minutes long. I got an A, but I don't think I really learned much. He's worth taking though.

Great professor, though he talks too fast. Needs to slow down and take the time to explain things. Easy to work with and is understanding. Needs to spend less time on theory and add a few more practical examples to the lectures. Well worth the effort to take the class with him.
