I have had Dr. Stamp for many different classes SB,We, and conducting. He is a great teacher. Expects the best from his students and is extremely professional. To everyone that says he is arrogant, I honestly feel that he may only come off as arrogant because of so many things that he has accomplished. Also he's human so he may have his moments. :)

ok, he does know his stuff very well and has proved it many times. I think it is just that he is very full of himself. He hates it when others prove him wrong, no matter the situation. All music majors end up dealing with him at some point in time. You either love him or hate him. you decide.

Incredible conductor. I think he's trapped in college even though he says he loves it. Really deserves a professional orchestra. Very helpful and knowledgable. Great class, teaching method is great, lots of enthusiasm. Is clearly a true musician.

He is a genius of his time. One of the reasons I chose IUP's music program. He is also EXTREMELY entertaining during rehearsals, remembers everyone's name from day one, and supports all IUP ensembles, attends football games to see the marching band.
