Gerrie is one of the best profs that I have had at Cap. She is an incredibly caring lady and her lectures were amazing. I loved and learned a lot from her lectures even though they were at 8:30!

Gerrie is a great prof. She gets to know her students really well and makes herself approachable when you need her. She has great lessons and notes to guide you through the semester. Only used the purchased notes once or twice, you don't really need them, if you want to save some extra money.

Gerrie repeats lessons and key terms multiple times to ensure that it gets drilled in the students' brains- that is, if this technique best fits your learning style. She is an extremely unfair marker. She does not listen when you bring up an issue with a team-mate so be prepared to pick up the slack for others in your class or let your grade suffer

She's quite irritating personality wise and makes this joke of a class so unnecessarily painful. There is a lot of work in this class especially when it comes to writing these ridiculously long papers that everyone just completely bs's. However, she does reinforce material very well. There will be many times where she'll drive you up the wall

if you are an international student, then stay away from this teacher. She is only interested in English Grammer rather than the real concepts of the course. I highly don't recommend her for students whose English is a second language.

Gerrie is a fantastic prof, and easily one of the best at Capilano. She provides helpful notes, study tips, and really drills the information into your head. The projects are somewhat annoying, however, are marked very fair and often boosted my grade. She also had three tests rather than a midterm which was nice.

Gerrie is amazing. I really love going to her class and feel really comfortable. Like someone said she really drills the concepts into your head, which really helps you remember them. She has small quizzes online for some chapters, but I suggest making friends and working together. Overall, Gerrie is really great and would recommend her to anyone!

When she teaches OB, it turns into an English class. Very irrelevant. Lot of homework expected but none of them count for marks. Expect her to treat you like you are 3 years old who knows absolutely nothing. Reminds me of a elementary school teacher rather than a university professor.

Nice Teacher and easy to approach. 3 tests 10% each + Final and couple of assignments no Midterm! Sometimes the wording of questions are hard to understand but overall easy class attendance is essential easy 5%

All the concepts and terms are drilled into your head. It is physically impossible to do poorly in this class if you put effort into it. I was expecting this course to be useless at first, but now I'm starting to see how useful some of the communication and motivation topics are.

Gerrie was a great teacher. She really pushes the material on her class so they know it and understand it. She has a light fun class and helps her students interact by creating the groups and seating arragements. Really helpful if you are behind or don't understand something!

I found her class to be really interesting and thoroughly enjoyed having her. Attendance is important, so don't miss one unless it's an emergency. She really helps you out when you need it, and is very organized. She reviews the material a lot before tests so if you listen you'll pass. She cares about her students and you can tell :)

Gerrie is overall a good teacher. I know that some people in my program had bad experiences in her class. I found her rude sometimes.. but her teaching skills are great, lots of notes, no midterm! just four quizzes instead. if you come to class, read the text and notes, its an easy A.
