Very unintelligable. Reaks of Cat ****, and is unable to accept criticism when she is wrong. Simply the worst professor in the department. She should have never been given tenure.

Cancels too many classes, rarely lectures, only shows movies that u sleep through. when she does lecture, its like she's reading off a page not from knowledge. talks about 7-10 page paper a week before its due. shows up 3-7 min. late for EVERY class. easy class, although horrible professor who seems dedicated to the field but not to the class.

i think she is a really good teacher. She exlains everything and does a review before the test. The only thing that makes me upset is that she smells like cats. but if you can get over the smell then i would highly recommend her

Dr Gier is awesome!!! She explains everything really well and goes over everything before the test. She is easy to talk to and if you don't understand something she will clarify it for you. She is the best!!

Her teaching style is very relaxed. The few rules that are on the syllabus aren't a big deal and if you miss more than the 5 day limit she doesn't drop you're grade. Study guides have everything on them that will be on the test and she goes over the guides in detail in class. I heart Dr. Gier.

She taught an interesting subject and did absolutely NOTHING with it. She didn't assign a textbook, so we had to go from our notes and those were often contradictory. She didn't write down the weird french terms or answer questions. She's just not good
