Pretty decent professor. I think things would've gone better if we didn't have 3-hour time slots. He's also really helpful if you consult him 1 on 1 after class, which should happen quite a bit since you could lose focus every once in a while.

Most boring class ever. The daily lecture could be covered in 15 minutes but instead are stretched into 50. He gets overly excited about minor concepts and laughs at his own jokes. Seems as though sometimes he confuses himself while talking. Easy class. If you're not planning to be a psych major, for the love of god do not take this class!

He just loves to criticize your works. He doesn't really teach those material, but then expects you to satisfy him. He won't help you with anything; but will just criticize how you are dumb and should not take his course.

Never had him for a class but worked on his research project for a quarter to earn extra Psych credits. I almost quit several times because of him. Pretty much treated me like I was lower than him the entire time. Didn't trust anyone to do things correctly, and was second guessing everyone constantly. Made a minor mistake one time and he freaked.

This teacher explains everything very cleary. I would suggest coming to class and paying attention to do well on the tests. There are 4 tests. The worst two grades count for 33% and the highest two grades count for 67%. The first test people didnt do so well on. I would recommend him. Very interesting!!

He describes all the information you need to know for the tests. Sometimes he can be a little boring and talk about one subject for a long time, but he explains the information you need to know very well.

Class was soooooooo boring! Some material on tests did not show up on study guide. Overall, alot harder then what I expected from a 101 psych class.

Attendance was useless - just read the textbook and test yourself w/ Passer's own Psych101 past exams. Know your vocab words. Leonesio has 4 midterms+final whereas others only have 3 midterms. The only thing that kept me awake was counting the # of times he'd say "um" in a lecture.

This was an interesting class that introduced the topic of Psychology well. For the tests, just have a basic knowledge of all the topics on the study guide and you'll do fine. I relied more on looking this stuff up in the book, than notes from the lectures. The professor is pretty funny at times and obviously enjoys/knows what he is talking about.

Very interesting class. He explains a lot of the material better than the book does so I'd recommend going to lectures. He doesn't have a problem with going off on small tangents with people's questions, so you can get some interesting discussion going on.

I love this professor! He has the most entertaining mannerisms, and a good sense of humor. He makes me smile every day, because he's so silly. The class itself involves a lot of material, but I found him much better at explaining it than the psych teacher I had in high school.

boring! I'd say the most entertaining part of the whole class was watching him trip down the stairs one day! Don't bother going to lectures, you won't get anything out of it.

I go to lecture an average of once a week and am probably going to get a 4.0 in this class...which really just goes to show what an incredibly horrible lecturer this professor is. He obviously is intelligent and knows his stuff, but spends most of lecture doing things like reading data off of slides.

Research methods is rather a boring subject and I swear at times he sounded like the teacher from Ferris Bueller...BUT, the class was a piece of cake. He gives you a study guide before the exam so you know exactly what to study.

I took him for Research Methods. I don't know how he is for the Psych 101, but for more advanced stuff he's great. He knows his stuff and isn't afraid to get into stats (which sounds not so great but it's good to have an early intro if possible).
