Comment:
Great guy. He does suffer from the 'not grading a single thing till the last minute, then complains about having too much to do'. But otherwise a nice guy. He is super intelligent, having a conversation with him proves it. His class was FANTASTIC. Learned a bunch. Project was lengthy, but in the end was one of the better CIT classes

Professor Miller is an incredibly intelligent professor. His major flaw is in his organization, or lack thereof. He is not very clear as far as what he wants for the large project, but helpful and will work with you to get through it!

I have had Dr. Miller in a number of IT security classes. I believe that he is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable professors in our program. A lot of newer students think they are h4x0rz and they can coast just through the class. They find out they are wrong way too late and they should start thinking about what their goals truly are.

Comment:
Very intelligent guy but can not teach worth crap. Cares too much about his own intelligence level to the students rather than presenting information in a clear and effective manner. Gives way too much work. Do not take him for more than two classes a semester. The workload would be too intense.

The man does understand how computers work but he really needs to learn how to actually teach a bunch of students rather then blabbering on and on about his past and how he got where he is now. He is somewhat self centered and you should approach him directly if you want to do well in his course.

I'm graduated under the tutelage of Dr. Miller and Mr. Weaver, and have been working for a few years. These guys are the best the school's got, take them, listen to them, interact with them, you'll never forget it.

Class isn't that hard, but weekly quizes and tests are graded way too harsh. There is way too much material crammed into the weekly 5 question quiz and if you forget a space in a command, you can lose 20% of the grade just for that. You definately need to be on the ball. Would not prefer him again.

Dr. Miller is the SchizNizzle, no ifs ands or buts."Dont take him unless you want to program."? The class you are talking about is Intro to Programming. What did you expect to do?Knit?Don't tell me "I'm going to school for security, blah, blah. No matter where you are in this field, you will program.

biggest plus? no accent, unlike most prof in the CS dept. tests are hard, doesn't like giving out A's unless you work for them. He does like ppl that talk to him though.

Good teach. You will learn alot from this man if you pay attention. You will want to anyway. Kind of a goof ball. He is busy with school work but always willing to help. I wish I could have him for all my classes
