Most of what he says is wrong or a lie. He is so far out of "what's in" that he still talks about companies that died 8 years ago as "up and coming technology." He is totally clueless when it comes to IT. I can't say don't take him because there's no lternatives for some classes, but do not come to Penn Colleg for IT. You won't learn anything.

Vonda is a great professor. He is nearing retirement but if you have the chance to take him do it, you will not regret it. While his teaching method is the same as every other professor, he actually CARES about students and will do anything to help you pass the class and learn the material. Great guy. Take him.

Either go 2 class and copy his programs, or skip and type them on your own. Waste a lot of paper printing out the assignments. Over all you don't learn much, but I wont complain as long I get a good grade. I will definitely take him again.

The Best!!! I highly recommend taking Vonada, he gives you the assignments, tells you to work on them if you are doing fine and have no questions you do not need to attend class as long as you email him. HE is grrrreat!!!

Prof. Vonada is very easy to get along with and will try to help you get as much as you can out of the class as you can. He knows the I-series (AS/400) as well as scotty knew the Enterprise. Awesome teacher.
