Very nice man willing to help. Easy grader too. I've failed this class before and got A from him. Glad to take his class. Chapter review question every week, two writing assignments, and two exams. However, the class was a bit too long.

he is an easy grader but this class was SO boring. he is not very articulate and a really didnt learn anything in the class. I taught myself everything that was going to be on the exams with google and wikipedia. If you genuinely enjoy history, take this class with a better professor.

Don't buy the book. Take good notes and pay attention and you will do fine. His tests are straight from lecture, consisting of 15 identify, 1 short answer and 1 essay. One midterm, two short papers on the novels, and one final. I didn't purchase a single book and got a B+. Fairly easy grader.

He is interesting as a person but class. Honestly, he is really boring, but really nice guy. Attendance is mandatory, 2 assigned readings and its papers. Make sure you can buy the first assigined reading summery at the University bookstore. And 2 essay type exams. Make sure you know some about the Cold War, especially China and Russia.

Very nice guy and an easy grader, but was the worst history class I took as a college student. I was a history major and I can honestly say that I got NOTHING out of the class. If you really care about your education on the topic, then he is a waste of your time and money.

The most boring class EVER! He mumbles, and loses his train of thought all the time. Tests are essays, short answer, and IDs - essay make no sense! Thank goodness he's an easy grader.
