I do not recommend taking Chowdhury for this class. Extremely boring. He provides slides but you'll have no idea what he is talking about most of the time. Exam grades are based on the highest student. So if one kid does really well, everyone else receives low grades and there is no curve. Useless homework. Overall a horrible class. 0/10 recommend.

He basically grades you on three tests, a group 10 page paper and attendance. I thought this course was going to be intersting but I actually found it boring. Overall it was an okay class.

Chowdhury uses the case method to teach the class. His multiple choice Q's sometimes aren't found in the cases, which makes it aggravating. Always assumes everything is 'common sense.' Amazing that he's been a professor for so long, but knows so little about teaching.

This 3-hour class is "boring personified." Spends sooo much time repeating the same basic concepts. 95% of the class is txting or playing games on their phone/iPad after only an hour. It's an easy 'A,' but be prepared to feel an immense amount of boredom head your way.

I had Professor Chowdhury for Int'l. MGT. He over-explains concepts like it's nobody else's business. For a guy who's been a prof for 24 years, you'd think he could be a little more organized. He tends to jump from one topic to the next, and gets nervous at times. Nice guy, but avoid taking him if possible.

chowdhury is the man. his lectures are boring, its true, but he explains the material very thoroughly. pp slides a great study guide and if you ask, he will help. not impossible to get an A, i did it fairly easily. go to class and do the work...its that simple

If you have done well in the required ksom classes so far this class is a breeze. The class is really boring yet it is bc of lack of student participation. He is not approachable, but a very smart guy. Sadly, the best teacher for ib 351 if your not an ib major.

Never take this professor. His grading system sucks, it's impossible to get an A, and his questions come out of nowhere, not even in the book. Very dull, dry, and extremely boring. You could write a Christmas or grocery list in his class for fun.
