Comment:
Teymouri is your absolute best option for calculus. He has a very clear grading system, two tests for the course, and a few scattered quizzes. Lets you skip problems on each. Can bring formulas into each. Tests and quizzes are based entirely on homework. Lecture one day and homework the other. Attendance not mandatory, but show up!

I loved him so much! All you need to do to really pass is SHOW UP FOR THE HOMEWORK SOLUTIONS/HELP DAY. Do the homework, ask your questions, write down the answers FULLY, learn them, memorize them and it's an easy A. Definitely recommend him over Prof. Deno at strose, she teaches 2x the material. Also, super funny! Great teacher!

He's not as good as I was expecting. Sure his tests and quizzes are his homework problems, but he gives next to no partial credit on his exams which makes them so nerve wracking. He's very knowledgeable in calculus, but he has a tendency to move too fast during lectures and does very few problems. Don't expect an easy A.

He cares about his students and he is very nice and helpful. He keeps everyone engaged in his class. If you do the homework he assigns, the same questions are on his tests - You'll ace the class!

He's very very nice and wants to help. I'm a good math student, but he teaches in a very simple and easier to understand way and my brain can't grasp non-complex things. But either way. He's there if you need help and is a genius when it comes to anything math. Go into his class with an openmind; He wants to make you love math too.

Same exact style as Calc I in terms of grading and lectures/ homework days. Mostly all exam and quiz questions are from the homework questions and he goes over how to do all of them in HW days. Also goes over any questions you want during HW day before exams. Likes to share his life experiences as well, to take students mind off of Calculus a bit.

Like others said before: take 3 exams and 3 quizzes. Drops lowest one. So if you do well, don't need to show up for final exam. Quizzes gives 2 questions and choose 1 to answer. Exams gives between 9 - 11 questions and can drop any 2 questions. Say exam is 10 questions, grades 8 questions. Homework days make office hours not necessary and save time

Nice, but I still struggled in this class. Mainly because we'd go over a topic and then never do it again until the exam. Also, even though you don't have to go to the optional homework days, GO! He teaches a lot.

His class is extremely easy. His homework problems are exactly like the questions on the exams and he goes over any homework problem you need help with. He also drops your lowest test and quiz grade out of the three of each.

Great professor! The way he structures the class (with dropping the lowest quiz and test and teaching homework days and lecture days)is very lenient towards those who will easily grasp the course material, and helpful for those whom it comes harder to. He is very knowledgeable, and explains things in a very clear and concise way.

Must go to lecture days but not homework days. However, on homework days he further explains the lecture and may also give bonus points if you can complete a certain problem. He gives three tests and three quizzes but drops the lowest grade for each. He does not teach the harder way of differentiation unlike the other professors!

His class is harder than I originally expected. Definitely go to all the classes, as even the not mandatory ones are helpful. His accent isn't horrible, but sometimes he can't think of English Words. His tests are pretty hard, but the quizzes are really easy. He drops the lowest test and quiz grade.

Jamal Teymouri is the most knowledgeable professor at the college, and it's not close. He and the late Dr. Bogan are the best professors I have had. If you want to challenge yourself and really learn Mathematics, sign up for a course with Teymouri.
