Comment:

Dr. Koss' Spanish 101 class was easy as pie. He's an easy teacher who clearly enjoys teaching Spanish. Everyone in the class is forced to interact with him during class exercises where he goes person-to-person, up and down the rows. If you fail the class, you didn't try at all. There are plenty of assignments that can be used to boost your grade.

I have never had a teacher that was SO rude in my six years of college!!!! I honestly don't see how he is allowed to teach! I dropped the class on the third day because he was so rude!!!

Dr. Koss is an excellent Spanish teacher. He doesn't expect you to already know everything like most Spanish professors. There is homework (which is 25 % of your grade) almost every class tho so you can't really skip. He gives bonus points on every test

I had a solid 95 in the class all semester- this guy curves DOWN! What is that? Curved me to an 89 and did not budge! He was sick for 2 weeks and we were responsible for work he never covered! I cant teach myself Spanish!

Very unfair with grading at times. You don't get the grade you deserve- I never had a teacher who curved down in my life- he's a first. Condescending sometimes, but very intelligent.

Dr. Koss is an incredibly intelligent person. He was always dedicated to helping all students understand and communicate well in French. We constantly spoke in French and listened to audio tapes, which I found very helpful. He has a great sense of humor, friendly, and he even allowed me to do an independent study. Great experience.

DR. Koss is a really nice guy. The reading you have to on in the textbooks is brutal. Not a lot of it, just super boring! The more you read the easy the test are. The videos make the class really interesting.

I have enjoyed this class and this teacher very much! He doesn't make you feel stupid if you get something wrong in class. He tells you ahead of time what to study for on the test. He is VERY easy to understand on the oral parts, a lot easier than the way those people on Qui speak. I HOPE he adds a Spanish 102 class for Spring.

The only bad thing about the class was the quia, but other than that if you go to class you will be okay. I learned a lot in this class because he went through almost every exercise in the book. He will pick on you if you don't go to class and are a slacker.

This teacher is perfect for spanish!! Especially if you're a first timer! If you attend the class and follow along with him in the book it is pretty easy. He goes over every example and dosen't make you feel bad for getting an answer wrong at all...and hes so cute and small!! A wonderful helpful man!!

I'm pretty good with languages so this class was pretty easy for me, but even if I wasn't, Koss is awesome. He's funny and interesting and gives lots of bonus questions on tests. Don't be afraid to speak up because HE WILL CALL ON YOU! but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Don't be afraid of getting an answer wrong either, bc he will help you get to the right answer. He won't ridicule you like some other professors do. He's a really fun guy and a really great prof, if a little goofy sometimes
