He's an incredible prof that really knows what he's talking about. He gives real life examples that help understand concepts. 2 exams, 50% each, all tests but he gives you the option of writing an essay too. He hits you with the occasional dad joke, but other than that, great teacher.

Awesome prof, had him for anomalous psych and abnormal. Anomalous psych was very interesting! The lecture is 4 hours but it never felt long. Tests were also not too bad if you showed up to lecture. Abnormal psych, the tests were pretty hard but still a great prof. Both courses had two tests, the midterm 50% and final 50%.

Very nice prof. It's too bad for his reputation that he teaches stats. 4240 is unbelieveably hard - I'm not sure if that's his fault or it's just the course. He's more than willing to help you outside of class though and even with other stats questions that don't apply to his course. Seems to really care about students.

One of the best profs I've ever had. His tests were all written, so he's probably not for you if you love M/C. Tests were very fair though. Lectures were awesome.

He's a nice prof, but who cares about if he's nice or not?!? What matters is your mark, and it's definitely hard to get them in this class. His exams are near to impossible... half the time I was confused about if I even had the right exam in my hand.

Very interesting class! Learned a lot! He's very animated and makes a 4 hr lecture not too hard to stand (with examples, anecdotes & magic tricks). Might want to bring a laptop for overhead notes - he tends to whiz thru' them. Very knowledgeable. Go in w/ an open mind to both sides of an argument, cuz he debunks magical things pretty well :)

One word: exams. He loves trick questions way too much, and often has 2 possible answers to his multiple choice questions and you have to "pick" the right one without having any reason to pick it over the other. Study all you want, you're not getting a good mark in his class, unless you're a brown-noser, and I'm not even sure that works.

He is very clear, and precice about what he wants out of his students. He's a nice man who will help you when you need help clarifying something or giving you tips as to how to get the work done properly. My only problem was with his evaluations: only 2 tests in the year. You don't know what to expect going in and his test are too long for the time

Great course! He has a great breadth of knowlege; performs magic. If you attend lectures, and read the text and supl. readings you will do well. He marks hard on the essay, but if you meet with him before the due date,he'll help you avoid common pitfalls.
