I loved Dr. Allen! He was highly informative on the beginnings of the pentecostal movement, and his class literally changed my life. Although maybe disliked by some, I was so thankful for someone who knows and is teaching the things people don't even remember anymore. He is also an excellent and Spirit-sensitive pastor.

Too bad this doesn't have a section for personalilty. I loved Dr. Allen as a person, but after my first class with him, I'd walk into class and put my head down and try to sleep. He just teaches from the notes he gives you. Monotone, unenergetic, Dr. Allen only came to life at the end of the lecture as he slammed the podium and began a Holy Ghost sermon. Dr. Allen, I deserved your sleeping during my graduation. Love ya!

Dr. Allen has a ton of practical wisdom. But he falls asleep in class sometimes, too. Weird. He is a pastor, a father, a story-teller. And he sticks to his methods. He know the Bible. I think it's funny. All the classes I have taken with him were the same from my perspective. Good man. Decent teacher.

I can't believe he was rated so poorly...this guy has perhaps the most helpful wealth of knowledge of any prof in the school. Y'all will realize that for yourselves once you actually get out and get into the ministry. I love Dr. Allen.
