You have to really read every single thing he puts on desire to learn. He gives you a quiz every week. No final. No discussion. No assignments. Read and quiz. It was fairly easy if you are a good reader, if not, you don't stand a chance.

His "text" was a 200 dollar anthology of public domain works which he "edited"-it would have been much cheaper to buy the individual works separately or even print them off for free on the internet! But no, broke college students have to throw away a couple hundred dollars needlessly!

Even though I had scores sufficient to pass, he came up with some convoluted excuse to fail me. My grades should have added up to a C, but he decided to give an F.

This professor is very unique, i must say. He is very blunt with his humor and is hardly ever serious. The class is easy. Expect an A if you go every day, and a B if you squeek by with going to just the review days.

I took Humanities 2 last semester and got an A. He missed a lot of classes and the material wasn't as interesting, I didn't find it as easy.

He mainly teaches from notes, so I would say if your going to go to class you don't really need the book. However, you do read stories out of it and they count for part of questions on the exams, but more questions are definitely from his notes. He acts real crazy, but he is a good professor and pretty easy. It gets easier throughout the semester.

Wow, was this class a drag. The material is easy and everything, but it's such a blow-off course. He will talk your ears off and put you to sleep during class, but if you SparkNotes the material and pay attention to reviews, you'll be fine on the four 20Q true or false tests thru the semester!

Read introductions and read some shortened reviews online and you'll do fine. You get T/F tests and he drops the lowest. Very easy to get a B in the class!

Very easy class, it's not really hard to get a B or even an A in this class, Lowest test score is dropped at the end. Blake likes to add his own twists to the material. All in all he gets the point across, tests are usually true false.

read the intros to all of the stories in the texts... he wrote them, and that's what he tests on. Class notes are helpful, too.. AND he drops the lowest test score, so you may end up not having to take the final.

I took this as a web class. I liked the readings for HUM II, better than I. Dr. Blake presents everything online clearly and simply - which really helps. Online class grades are all based only on the essays. In order t osubmit an essay, your test grade must be 90 or >, but you can take the test multiple times. (Multiple choice.)

I took this class online. It was not very hard and not too much work. Didn't hear much from Dr. Blake. Perry, his teaching assistant, was great and did the majority of instructing this class. Overall not to bad.

Class is moderately easy (you'll def. get an A or B) if you go to review, and study for an hour or so for each test. Class can be boring, but Dr Blake is a nice guy who triest to spice it up.

Fun guy and party easy class but you really gotta get lucky with his tests. They are short and tricky and only True and False. No matter how much you know it could still get ya. You should read the material to get an "A". You probably wont fail but an "A" will be moderately tough. May need to truely like the material to go to class
