Because of his diverse career background, Mr. Bruce has the capacity to offer unusually practical, helpful lectures. I feel like I have learned a great deal about all levels of communication, and I have improved in my speech-making ability enormously due to his refreshingly honest evaluations.

Dr. Bruce is an awesome teacher and man. If you show up to class and listen the tests will be easy. The speeches are fun and he is willing to go out of his way to help students. Liberals you dominate the rest of the campus so as for me, a conservative, I'm glad that someone like Dr. Bruce is here

Dr. Bruce goes out of his way to help his students do well in the class. He takes an interest in his students, and he trys to make the class fun and interesting for everyone. I wouldn't have taken the class if it weren't required, but I'm glad I had him, since I did have to take it.

Bruce is a very nice man that does a good job of explaining the concepts he teaches. Sometimes his grades on speeches seem a bit unjustified, but overall he is not an extremely difficult teacher. His exams are very easy and he goes over them in great detail. I would recommend him to anyone.

I took his class and loved every minute of it! He is a wonderful teacher and loves the material he is teaching. You don't need your book, just study the notes. He doesn't make you feel stupid when you give a speech either. I highly highly recommend him!!

I'm also a liberal who wasn't bothered by his conservatism. I even gave my last speech on a very liberal topic (I could risk a bad grade) and got a good grade because I was articulate enough in my persuasion. He's fair and friendly to everyone.
