The worse college professor Ive had in my 3 years at NJCU. His whole class consists of him solving problems and sarcastically checking to see if he was correct (he knows that he was). If you want to pass without learning the material take him. If you actually want to learn look for another professor, even though they might be harder.

He's easy, but if you can't talk in his class unless you're asking him a question. Gives Homework every class but if you do his homework, his test should be easy for you.

If you're not understanding something, ASK! If you aren't as prepared for the exam as you'd life ask for a review he gives very similar if not the same questions. Make sure you show all the steps for his exams he takes off points if you don't! But if he sees you understand the concept he sometimes gives you credit. The reviews help a lot!

TAKE HIS CLASSES. I have had this same professor both online and offline in different courses. Great guy! He makes coursework easy to understand. If you take MATH112 online assignments(test only) and class lessons will be uploaded through blackboard instead of MyMathLab(saves money) and there is no homework.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! I took him both online & in class. He cares about his students & is very understanding when it comes to grading. If you don't put your part in, you're clearly not going to pass! If you do your homework & pay attention in class, you will pass. His reviews are a big help & basically your exam. Same goes for online. If not, easier!

Dr. Camacho is a great professor. He followed the chapters and he makes everything crystal clear. The math majors at NJCU are just very very very lazy. The best grades in all math classes are mostly achieved by chemistry, physics or biology majors.

Always at least 15 minutes late to a 50 minute class. Seems to have a communication problem, talks in circles and mumbles often. Very unsure of himself. Make sure you study the book and do the homework, tests are directly from the homework. You will have to teach yourself in this class. If you don't understand the material, you're screwed.

I took precal as a summer class and had him as a prof. He always showed up 20-30 minutes late to class and he would give us a break and would show up like 30 minutes after the break. Kinda hard to understand him. The book is a better teacher....

pros: gives a thorough review before each exam and is willing to offer extra help. cons: always at least 20 minutes late, goes on tangents that are irrelevant to the material being taught, not a great communicator, and doesn't teach so much as do problems on the board as you watch him. use the textbook. its a much better teacher than this professor.

Professor Camacho is one of the BEST professors at NJCU period. He is simply brilliant in his teaching of mathematics! I had him for several classes so I know what I'm talking about. Extremely dedicated and will stay after class to explain whatever it is that you do not understand. Notes are a bit all over but you get used 2 it. Humorous also!

Although he looks messy he is a geat professor. He knows what he's talking about and is very patient when asked questions. His tests are easy as long as you do the homework; he gets the test questions from the homework so don't be lazy cause it can be an easy A.

Dr. Camacho is the best math professor at NJCU. Take any math class with him and you will be glad you did. I recommend him to all my friends. He is extremely helpful, explains everything clearly and is very fair in grading. He treats all students fairly. He gives enough time to let you finish the test/exam.
