SPC #144 with Professor Coffey is a class I recommend to all MCC students. I met a wonderful group of people and learned so much during my semester. The classes are actually fun, and the textbook is free. He will review your papers before you turn them in which is a great help. Attendance is a big part of this class because you must participate.

Professor Coffey made me who I am today. He is a great professor and I would recommend him to everyone. I took him for two semesters and absolutely loved it. I got a lot out of the class and the inspiration he gave me. He really is great and cares about each student

Great teacher! He really cares about his students and will look over your papers has many times needed for you to get an A before the deadline. He is very strict about attendance and will fail you if you miss a certain amount of classes. Overall I did enjoy his class and I wish I could have more classes with him.

Coffey is the BEST. Made the class extremely fun, provided a FREE textbook, cared for his students and showed so much interest in the work he does. Basically gives you the answers to whats on the test. Attendance is MANDATORY since the whole class is focused on communication skills. Overall he is an awesome dude!!!!

Best professor Ive ever had an one of the most Amazing people Ive ever met. Not only does he teach you thoroughly what you must know for exams but for life as well. I really enjoyed every lecture and took away with me so much knowledge and communication skills. I actually miss the guy! If you have a chance to take his class you best do it!

Absolutely loved professor Coffey and his teaching style. Funny sense of humor, gives you the needed note packet and plenty of time to complete assignments and goes over them during class. Basically gives you what's going to be on the tests. Don't get caught using your cell phone and show up to class on time or those points will add up and deduct.

Made a mandatory elective extremely fun. If you participate in discussions and show you are trying, he won't let you fail. He forces you to look at situations in a different light. I still use some of his social techniques to deal people to this day.

JimJames Coffey was a wonderful professor. Attendance & participation is a must. He gives you all the info you need he just wants you to feed it back to show you know the material. Plenty of time to turn in papers. No text book needed he provides a thorough one. Easy A if you show up & complete assignments on time. Corrects papers ahead of time.

This is my second class with Jim, I love his teaching style along with his personality. He is very helpful and he makes things very easy to learn. You can tell he wants his students to succeed. I wish I could take even more classes with him. I highly suggest him as a professor!
