Crimmins was a solid prof. A very smart man. He has a leftist worldview and isn't afraid voice it, so if you have an opinion that is on the conservative side, make sure you can defend position. He will definitely challenge you but will always let you speak your mind. Enjoyed the discussions in his class.

Dr. Crimmins is a brilliant man and is great at explaining complex concepts. He really wants to see you succeed and if he sees you come prepared and put the effort in, he will be more than willing to help you. Make sure if you put your hand up you have a valid point or he will rip you apart. he has a good sense of humor as well!!

Crimmins is a great professor who truly wants you to succeed. Willing to help you when you needed it. Show up prepared tho or else if you ever try and pretend to know ur stuff he'll cut you up. Had a pretty good sense of humor and was a down to earth Professor! Recommended

Great prof. Very true about not BS-ing, though. You really MUST think before you speak in class, or you'll PAY DEARLY. If you make a bad point he'll tell you that you're dead wrong, if you try to defend yourself, he'll start laughing at you. Quite humiliating. In the spring he reads out his top 10 list of stupidest exam responses. It's Hilarious.

Crimmins was my fave prof from undergrad. he is smart, and encourages critical thinking. He also has an unbelievable understanding of theorists, and wants his students to understand it like him. Dont BS him, or you will fail!!! Love the boots, the hair, and the 'admiral' jacket!!!!
