He gave mind-numbing lectures that were about 40% talking, 40% trying to get the machines to work, and 20% trying to remember where he left his microphone. He gives a ridiculous curve though... everyone in my class got A's and B's

I can't believe he is still teaching! Dr. D really loves his outerspace, but he can be a very boring lecturer. Unfortunately the technological advances in the last decade or so have left Dilley in the dark. He can't turn on a projector to save his life. Gotta love him. Too cute for words.

They guy is so innocent, feble, and old that it is hard not to like him. He talks like he has 7 IV's plugged into his face. He is a fan of G rated jokes that girls love him for. I got a B in his class. Theres only a midterm and a final so its not a lot of work, just make sure to bust your ass studying b/c the book is written by him.

Poor Dr. Dilley! LOL. He's a very nice man, but he's only still there because he has tenure. Needs TAs to shut off his AV equipment or he's lost. His short films are the same ones I saw in grade school, and I'm 42.

i love this man and his inability to turn off slide projectors before turning on a movie, his misplacement of the microphone he holds in his hand all the time, and his mispronuciation of 'dinosaurs.' he's adorable and i wish he was my grandpa.

such a nice old guy. he is so cute, and very much resembles a dinosaur, and is probably not too much younger than them. he is having a little trouble entering the 21st century, but he is nice. but there are only two grades the whole quarter...

Spends half the class looking for the microphone that he just set down in front of him, or trying to work the slide projector. His in class notes are impossible to follow or make sense of. Not to metion that he is like 90 yrs old going on 200.

Poor P Dilley. he can't work the projectors to save his life, and it's not like morton 201 is on the cutting edge of technology. at least he's making a smooth transition into senility, but it's about time he starts doing it in Florida.

Very interesting class, but a bit of a blow off class. Dilley is absent-minded (forgot he had class one day!) but knows his stuff inside out. Plus he is very kind and helpful. Tests arent very hard. Does mumble and get off track easily tho...

Making fun of him isn't very nice. You can tell that he's very smart, and loves the material. He's a bit absentminded sometimes but the classes are pretty easy so it's not like it affects your grades.

So his spelling is a little off, that's why he's a Science professor instead of an English professor. He does know his material though...if you can get him to stay on topic.

To give the poor man credit, he likes what he does, and he is very smart. He just doesn't express himself well. He's too old and should've retired by now. He wears the same clothes and gets confused by electronics. The book is good, but not used.

To give the man credit, he really loves what he is teaching (astronomy)..he DOES mumble and is pretty absentminded. However, the book we use for the class is interesting, and you really DON'T need to go to class very often!

He doesn't teach at all, just mumbles to the class, so you can't learn anything. You can't even learn from the text book, because he wrote it using his contradicting words. He also seems very confused and doesn't know what's going on a lot of the time.

I can't get over how absent-minded Dilley is. Every single time we watch a video he jumps 10 feet high when it first starts because the volume is up so high! I think it's time to say good bye to teaching and hello to some ginko biloba!

Loves to show astronomy documentaries from the 70's. Class is a miracle cure for insomniacs. Fun to attend every once & awhile to see Dilley try and figure out how to turn off the lights, work the projector, and make sense of his enigmatic diagrams.
