Dreaded taking accpounting, but Professor Durrett made it painless. If you are like me and are not an accounting major I recommend him, but if you are an accounting major, it might be a little elementary for you..I would definetely take him for another accounting class!

Very good teacher. Lets you take a cheat sheet to the exam and his questions are very short and easy. I average finished his exams less than 40 min. Gives lots and lots of extra credit points. Just one of those teacher who doesnt care about grade but wants you to earn it at the same time.

i am a senior accounting major. though, i made an A in this class, but !!!!... i have had serious problem taking Intermediate 2 and 3 after taking Duret's class...easy A is not enough if you really a serious learner! He is nice but not good enough to prepare you for major courses. avoid him and taufiq! ..shelton is the best acc. teacher.

Prof. Durrett is an excellent teacher. He makes difficult subject matter easy to understand. His exams reflect what he has taught. Not too easy, but not too hard either. Plus you get to have a sheet of notes (handwritten) for each exam. He gives lots of bonus homework problems that can really boost your grade.
