Nice guy if a bit boring. Show up to class, do the assignments and tests on BB and you'll be fine. Pretty much everything on the tests is in the powerpoints... don't think I opened the book past the first week.

Go to every class. Even though attendance isn't mandatory, he always managed to give pop quizzes when I decided to skip. Lectures are boring and uninteresting. Tests are very hard and the study guides are extremely vague. My advice would be to record his lectures on review day and use those recordings to your full advantage.

Great professor! Very funny, and keeps your attention. As long as you study the notes, you will do fine. I never even opened my textbook.

The course is not that interesting but he is. He makes a boring topic bearable. Exams are not average, but an A is achievable for sure. My recommendation: take him.

Getting a good grade in this class would take a lot of work. The test questions are extremely specific and you have to memorize a lot of information... but I just needed a science requirement, and I got the C i needed just by studying the powerpoints and going to most of the classes (was really hard to pay attention when I went tho)

terrible teacher. he trys to be funny but barley gets a laugh out of anyone. bought the book for $80 DIDNT USE IT at all AND YSU is no longer buying the book back so waste of money. dont bother with his study guides becasue they have almost nothing to do with the test. the tests are rediculously hard. worst hour and a half class ever.

Nice & Funny guy, willing to help if you are struggling or need anything. The class consists of 3 tests and then assignment and quizzes which make up another test grade. Tests come strait from notes, DO NOT NEED TEXTBOOK. The assignments are easy and the quizzes are map quizzes. RECOMMENDED.

He is extremely humorous and personable. If you go to class you will get an A. His tests are straight from the notes. He does not use the book. I barely cracked it open. He also gives extra credit projects to help boost quiz grades.

I took the Honors version. Class grade was primarily based on 3 multiple choice tests. ?'s came almost straight from his handouts, he tells you which are from the book. We had a few out of class assignments that were interesting and not overly difficult. I learned a lot and enjoyed the class. My only gripe was having to walk all the way to Cafaro!

Assigns too much busywork for an elective. Gave difficult map quizzes everyday. Only information provided was a poorly Xeroxed, impossible-to-read map. Changed the syllabus several times just weeks before the final and never provided concise due dates for anything. Take Human Geography with Dr. Stephens instead, you'll learn more and do less work.
