Foley knows how to lecture. in this class he has yet to hit a point where he cant find more to talk and forces active participation so read often to avoid not knowing the answer. only three exams, not cumulative, 50 questions each. if you have a solid grip on the next lecture (labeled in his syllabus) skipping class wont hurt you.

This class is too specific to be relevant to every business major. The book you use will only talk about how one industry is affect globally. I really would not recommend this class unless you are an international business major or a global scholar (its required). It is an easy pass/fail 1 credit class atleast!

I would not take him again. Tests are really hard and they are worth a lot. He expects you to keep up the readings but the book is dry. Take eskridge, much easier. Also, the group projects are time consuming and should be worth way more than the tests.

Mr. Foley is a good professor and I am glad that he is teaching the basic class in International Business because I can see that his knowledge in the topic is not advanced. He can flirt with the A B C's of IB, but ask him to algebra on the topic and he really does not know. But overall, for this class, he is good.

Great stories! Hes explains everything really well which helps...he is not on campus a lot because he travels...if you need lots of extra help don't take him...also the final exam is on the last exam day.

Terrible teacher. Never available in office hours, he's always out of the country. He may know his stuff, but has trouble teaching it, and the tests are really hard. Grades rather easy on group projects, but projects aren't worth much considering the time you put into them--more work in this 2 hour class than most 3 or 4 hour classes.

this is my favorite class. tests are kinda hard, but he grades easy on the group projects. he knows a lot about what he is talking about and he is really interesting. he makes it entertaining by bringing real life into class.

Very interesting and intelligent man. Uses different types of media to make class fun. A great teacher. Go to class and take good notes. The only negative was the time-consuming project. Luckily, I had a company that was of great interest to me. I would happily take another one of his classes.

Incredible professor. He more than anyone else is fit to teach this class. Brings real world experience to the classroom. What other teacher can say that he will be late to class because he's on his way back from a conference in South Africa? Study for the tests and you will get an 'A'.

I've never felt more cheated in a class, some groups wrote terrible papers with little effort put into them and got A's. My group included stuff beyond basic country info and got a C for not including facts he specifically told us not to put in he paper!

He is just irritating to me, he likes this class WAAAY too much. Its basic stuff but he twists it around and makes it more complex than it needs to be. Also, the work you have to do is a lot more than you'd expect for a 2hr class

Although I had a tough time with this class, Foley really made me enjoy this class. He is a great teacher, and really loves what he does. You can't really ask for much more in a teacher. I highly recommend this professor.
