awful professor. The only reason i passed this class is because i tool AP chem in high school. Not helpful, barely understood how to use his own online program, unclear teacher, and rude when students asked questions. Avoid if possible.

I attended his general chemistry class and it was EXTREMELY difficult. You're pretty much on your own to learn what he discusses in class. Extremely fast pace. He's available to help if you need it; however, he's extremely intelligent and doesn't translate to "college-kid-just-learning" talk very well. Would NEVER take his class again. Nice guy tho

He's one of those professors...that knows what he's doing. He's a brilliant man, and you can't help but hold very high regards for his ability to instruct the undergraduates. Very easy-going, and very interested in what he does. He loves to teach, and it shows.

I don't see why people say he is hard. I find him to be a wonderful teacher. I am not particularly well versed in Chemistry, but he helped me understand things I thought would be nearly impossible to take in. Take him, do the work, and you will be fine.

If you've never had any chemistry before I would suggest not to take him as your professor. He's a very nice man, but understanding the subject was extrememly hard. I admit he teaches better as the months pass, but he is still very difficult to understand.
