Very easy, expect to learn a lot from this extremely enthusiastic prof. He has done it all, from Galapagos to Siberia. Very quiet, reserved, so sit in the first 3 rows or you won't be able to hear him.

I took Field Herps and being in his class was the only thing I liked about Cranberry Lake, which to most people is fun but I didn't like CLBS much, but Herps is great. Great Professor and I am ecstatic to be taking his fall herps class now! Him and his classes are what I came to ESF for!

An amazing man and professor. Is absolutely brilliant and knows so much about herps it's crazy. Go on the optional field trips, they are so worth it because he takes you on them. He's almost too soft-spoken. The field course at cranberry is great too.

Ah, to take a class from a professor who teaches because he loves to teach. Coupled with his conservation-oriented research, intelligence, and kindness, you couldn't ask for more in a professor. Bike chain grease on pants = not driving to school.
