He calls on you on purpose when he knows your not paying attention. NOT NICE. one time he yelled at one kid to GO HOME in the middle of class... A few midterms and a final which are all problem sets. he curves i think. he doesn't explain stuff and gets mad when you don't get it. don't take him if you don't have to

i was really surprised to see the bad reviews i think he is a good guy with a sarcastic sense of humor he is a harmless nice old man and he really helps u work thru the problems so u understand it. i suggest getting in a smaller class tht he teaches i got a midterm deficieny and now have an A- cas doing hmwrk saved me

I have never felt compelled to make a full review till this class. Worst prof i have ever had. Each class started with him scolding the class for their poor performance. 2/3 of the class got deficiencies. He openly described LMU students as, word for word "going to hell in a handbag". DO NOT TAKE

Dr. Healy is an extremely hard teacher who does not budge on any grading. Even if the class average is 55% on a mid term, he is convinced that it is completely the student's faults and no falt lies on him. Homework is easy and you get full credit for just turning it in, but his hard mid-terms are a slap in the face.

I like his teaching style. Im an accounting major but can see how his personality conflicts with the students. You work for an A and he treats you like a good boss would treat his employees. If you are in school to be babied then you probably won't like his style. If you want to learn real life problem-solving then take him.

Horrible professor...First average on the midterm was B, Second average D-....Makes you teach material to yourself and then you do the homework...then the next class he lectures on the chapter you already read and does the homework. Makes fun of you if you don't get the right answer. Can't read his damn handwriting and he's bitter at the world

By far the worst accounting professor at LMU. He is an upper division teacher by nature, and doesn't respect the fact that some students are not accounting majors. It was unbearable sitting through power-point after power-point as this man pretended to teach to the class. If you fall behind, expect to get a c or lower.

He's alright. a lot of homework. homework is graded on effot not whether its right. you get to bring a cheat sheet to tests. quiz every two weeks.gives practice exams. if you can find an easier teacher but hes not a bad teacher, hes pretty good, and he tries his best to make you understand. oh and theres a project...its tedious

what an ass....i remember walking into his office asking him for an extension on my homework because my mom had surgery and he said to me, "u can fool me, but u cant fool urself"...um what?...he's an ass, ridiculously hard and unsympathetic to u as a student..On top of that he has a huge temper and clearly hasnt gotten laid by his wife in a while.

Hard teacher, hard subject, he makes it easier. only thing is his teaching style makes learning it harder, but in the end you learn a lot more. he's cool and funny if u get to know him. Dick in class but that only makes u stay on top of ur****. tests are ridiculous. assigns HW, THEN teaches it.
