Great prof. Dynamics can be a fairly hard class but Hilliard is awesome at teaching and is extremely helpful in office hours. Grades very easy as well. Do the homework and you should do well.

Overall a good professor. His lectures can be boring, but he is quite helpful outside of class. Do the homework and the tests are just like it if not easier. Very friendly and willing to help you get a good grade. I had failed the first test, but talked to him and managed to ace the next two and the final. Easy class if you complete the work

I really don't mind this class because for the majority of the semester I can just pretend I'm not in it. The only time you need to go to lecture is on friday for 5 minutes to turn in your homework. The homework never changes from semester to semester, so just find somebody that already did it. Then cram for the test = A (45+ hours)

Way cool guy. Lectures are definitely boring, but even though he's reading slides, he explains where every little thing comes from in example problems. Also, if you don't understand something, he answers questions very clearly and concisely. Go to class + listen + ask questions if you don't understand + do practice tests = A (probably ;-)

Dr. Hilliard is one of the worst proffessors at ISU. He comes in to class, takes of his hat, combs his hair, takes out his printed notes and then starts pointing and talking. He is as boring as dead week. His notes are terrible because he only writes numbers and no words explaining what he's doing for when you review them.

He may seem pretty boring in lecture, but he has been one of my favorite teachers. Very straight forward when it comes to what he wants you to know for tests. He's not a professor that is trying to trick you, his old prac. exams are great examples. Just do the homework, understand it, and you should be okay.

I went to lecture the first two times, then never again. The guy is a robot who reads off powerpoint slides containing example problems. Tests a piece of cake if you have a TI-89 and you know how to do the homework/past tests. Acing the final wasn't hard. :)

Though out the whole semister i attended apporximatly 13 lectures and stayed the whole time. The rest of the time i would walk in and turn in my assignment and leave. This is what i would advise you to do if you are planning to take this class.

Warning, you will fall asleep in lecture. Easy class, the TA's do the homework for you if you go to recitation. You don't need to go to lecture, and the whole class can be done on the calculator. "Of course you can do it any way that you like, I won't see it because you'll be turning in a bubble sheet"

Nice guy. Very boring in lecture. My advice to anyone who is taking this class is to simply do the homework and get outside help. Make sure you understand the homework completely, and you will do fine on the exams, especially in comparison to the class average. The lectures are pretty worthless.

very boring lectures, probably attended around a total of 2 or 3 throughout the semester and ended up with a solid B. Just review the notes before exams, and make sure you know how to do most of the hw problems. Exams are very similar to the practice exams on the ~statics website.
