Comment:

Johnson is a very kind and wonderful man. I thought he was going to be incredibly hard, but he wasn't. I took Molecular Biology and Genetics over the summer. He curved the grades let us choose percentage for exams vs take home essays. He teaches very clearly! His class is fairly easy, but just make sure you study and you may end up with an A!

Comment:

Had him for Microbiology. Very Informative, helpful and approachable, talks fast, bad lecturer but he knows his stuff. If it takes an animated instructer to get you to pay attention, don't take him. If it doesn't matter how a professor lectures but only the content of his lecture does, then take him 'coz his lectures are definitely enlightening.

Johnson is a horrible teacher. Study the backtests, its the best way to do well in this class. It takes him at least 5 weeks to get any grades back to you. Even though he says he wont allow it to happen, sometimes you take an exam without getting the one before it back. Lab almost always lasts 3 hours and is mostly all in groups. Its a lot of work.

His class is pointless other than getting back tests/quizzes/hand outs. He gives study guide sheets which you should basically memorize everything on it and you should get atleast a B. Its another biology class, so its memorize memorize memorize. Lab is actually very interesting, especially when you start your unknown projects. Good class.

He's a great teacher you just have to apply yourself. he does read off slides, but ask questions. or talk wit him after class and he'll hel you out. he does get better though with upper level micro courses...weeks the people who don't care out
