Dr. Donlevy's course was the best one I have ever taken. He is an exemplary professor who adeptly distills complex information down to its essential points. Besides being an excellent instructor, Dr. Donlevy is also very caring and goes out of his way to ensure that students fully understand the concepts he is teaching.

Dr. Donlevy is an amazing prof! No textbook required- everything was put online. We did need to access a few readings from his book, but he made them digitally available in the library so we would not have to may to buy them. Class was at 7:30am but he kept it very interesting - most people showed up and made special Sunday catch up classes too!

Dr. Donlevy's class was one of the few classes I enjoyed in the education program. I always attended although it was not mandatory. I took his EDUC 503 and the text book was expensive. So, he bought 7 copies and donated them to the library for students' use. Amazing prof who is very knowledgeable, cares about his students and listens to them.

Possibly the greatest professor I have encounter thus far at the UofC.Has clear points and knows exactly what he's talking about. His tests are easy, and unless you live under a rock should achieve an amazing grade. He lets students speak out and only disregards idiots who proceed to say "the holocaust was a mass assisted suicide" GREAT TEACHER!!!

Reading some of these comments, I am really confused. Not only do I think he's one of the best teachers I ever had but the tests were easy, assuming you showed up to class and took notes. I skimmed over my notes right before the tests and still got "A"s. The class was interesting and I found him to be a really nice guy.

Loves to talk about how much money he has and how smart he is. Testing is insane. He jumps around in his lectures so expect to reorganize your notes before you can comprehend them. He's not the greatest but not the worst, kinda like learning from a cartoon. He's also rather insulting to his students, so unless you really neat to speak up-don't.

A very good teacher. Great student involvement, however, his tests are not a valid reflection of the material learned. He does not provide a welcoming atmosphere to any student who challanges his authority or grade. He tends to take any concerns with the grades as a personal reflection on his ability as a teacher...

I appreciated how he constantly challenges students to think through the ramifications laws have on society. Encourages a tremendous amount of class discussion and is always respectful of students' opinions even while pushing them to defend their viewpoints.
