DJ was one of the best tutors I've ever studied under. He was quite helpful in paper writing process, and preparing for final exams. Highly recommend his courses at Wroxton. He definitely is well read and cultured. NYC is not a "melting Pot"; that implies some agreed upon cultural norm everyone must "melt" into, which is not the case. CF 1992

I took all 3 of Baldwin' classes at once - and they were the hardest of my life. BUT - and this is important, he was also one of the best teachers/mentors I've ever had the pleasure of studying with. You have to give him your all, but he'll help you just as much, personally and professionally. I think him as much a friend as a professor today.
