Took this class in AU09. It was pretty useless to go to class, he abbreviated everything to the point where it was incomprehensible. I stopped going to class and taught myself and things turned out better. He also shows useless 30-year old VHS tapes on accounting processes...

He is a nice enough guy, but he needs to change it up. Honestly you could never got to class and just read the chapters and do the practice problems and get at least a b in the class. He does not seem very interested in teaching and does not go in depth in class at all. I would take the night section if i had a choice.

One word for this teacher, terrible. I stopped attending lectures after the first exam and just read the book and did way better on the second exam. Always uses excel and confusing abbreviations. Recitation is defiantly the most helpful.Tests are 35 question MC so you can't really get many wrong if you want a good grade.

Definitely one of the worst professors i've had at osu. The guy teaches you from excel, you learn absolutely nothing from it, and he is so boring and dry. I had to learn everything from the friday recitation classes. The tests are very difficult as well, dont take him

apparently this is the hardest of all the 212 sections. i've checked with quite a few other business majors, and everyone who didn't have this prof had a fairly easy time of it. the coursework seems to be oriented more towards accounting majors, and as a marketing major, i don't feel that this prof's class was the best use of my money.

Kinard is possibly the worst teacher I have had. His lectures are very confusing and not helpful at all. Worst of all, he actually curves the class down. His class is not that hard if you realize in time that to do well you need to read the book, do a lot of practice problems, and ignore everything Kinard says. You should avoid Kinard at all costs.

Aweful! I just finished this class and was 1 point below the next grade and I noticed that he didn't give it to me. When I emailed him about getting it "bumped up" like he tells the TAs to tell us will happen if we attend recitations, he acted like I was crazy. He is very demeaning! Do not take him unless you want to teach yourself everything!

This guy is hands down the worst professor I have ever had. I dropped the class bc I was doing so awful. I have it with fellingham this quarter and I got an A- on the midterm. Kinard's lectures are useless and he makes all of these weird excel spreadsheets that don't make any sense at all! Don't take him for this class!!
