What a G. We had 7 people in our class, only 4 would show up so we would just hang out and talk about/ solve all the worlds problems over food. One paper with a coinciding presentation- easy as hell. Think of it more as a leadership/ debate class.

Pros: Most chill prof ever. Seems nice. No assignments,hw, only 1 paper, presentation at the end. HUGE curves. Cons: HARD tests, guessing game on tests due to the fact that questions are random and he doesn't teach anything in class, worst prof ever in terms of teaching. MQs not based on slides books or lectures GL. DONT BUY TEXTBOOK AT ALL

Prof. Marsh's class is probably one of the worst classes I have taken in my college history. He doesn't remember what he has talked about, repeating himself for entire class periods at a time and rambling on and on. Exams are impossible to study for, don't bother reading the book.

He rambles on about things that don't have to do with the class. The study guide is pointless and confusing. The tests are hard and not relevant to the powerpoints or his lectures. You can tell he knows his stuff but is super boring. The paper will determine your grade, so pick a good group.

This teacher gets a big BOO! He has tenure and acts as such. Rambles on about sashimi (he apparently loves Japan) then tests you on a random assortment of lower level economics topics (micr/macro). Don't bother buying the book, his powerpoint slides are more relevant. Also, the group project will generally determine your final grade.

Come on people, he's a nice professor at Shilder unlike other professors. Although his lecture is boring, he has a lots of experience in his field. I can say that his class can be easy. I got A in his class even though I did kinda bad on one of my exam. I rather take him than any other economic professors.

All he does is talk. has ppt but only leaves one slide up and talks the whole period while going off on tangents. If u r good at writing notes on everything he say u will get an "A". There is a group project which is easy if you got a good group. Project consists of 15 page paper and presentation of a countries economics

DO NOT BUY THE TEXT FOR THIS CLASS. IT WILL NEVER BE USED. This class is a catch-22, if you understand Econ you will understand him; But if you understand Econ you probably don't need to take this class.

He talks way to quietly, which makes me zone out automatically. The only thing hard about this class is that damn group paper. If you don't have a motivated group then this paper will be very difficult. I did well on the tests, mostly just by guessing, but that isn't true for everyone. He's not horrible, but if you have another choice, take them

AVOID THIS PROF. AT ALL COSTS. His lectures are pointless...wastes the entire class time repeating the same 2 pointless phrases. Exam q's are deceiving and the correct answer is based on his twist view on the world, and not what the books say. Do NOT take his class!!

His lectures are insanely boring, and he speaks soft and monotone. There's FIVE open-book, multiple choice exams with long questions AND answers. Most of them are from his lectures, and barely from the textbook (waste of $$). No one does good.. Take this course from another professor. If you must take him, use a tape recorder to tape his lectures.

All the people here who are complaining are just not very smart. I'm minoring in econ and this class was extremely easy and if you have any knowledge of the subject you should get an A. The problem is that he thinks like an economist and so a lot of people don't understand his logic. One of the smartest people you will meet.

He is the worst teacher I've ever had, his lectures are pointless and his stories usually have no relevance, and if you go you MIGHT get one or two extra questions right on the exams. The tests are open book, so he makes the questions ridiculously tricky and the average is usually around a 50-60%. Don't take 313 with him if you can help it.
