He is not clear about what he wants. He wont help you when you ask for help. Assignments that are being given in graduate level course, are assignments that he gives to undergrads. He is nit picky about little things. I asked him for help and he emailed me back saying "I'm not going to help you since you can redo the assignment"

Honestly, do not take a class with this guy if you are a fan of clear instructions. He is terribly loose on what he expects and then grades you harshly for not mind reading. I have a perfect 4.0 so far with only 2 classes yet to take and this guy is going to blow that for me, and not because my work is not quality but because I cannot read his mind

This teacher is awful. He makes you do pointless things for each of the assignments you have to do. He is an awful grader, and takes points off for EVERY little mistake. He is not understanding about any out of class situations you may have, and thinks that his class is the only important one any of his students have. I do not recommend him at all.

Ohhh boyy well his bark is worse than his bite. Do not sit in the front, his pants are extremely tight and yeah. He sounds a little bit like Ben Stein, but in a funny way. The workload is not too bad as long as you keep up with it. If you try you will get at least a low A.

He is one of the worst teachers I've ever had at CMU. His grading is ridiculous, he does NOT like to give out As. He requires lesson plans to be almost 7-10 pgs long! & then that's not even good enough b/c he still gives out horrible grades. I've written a ton of A papers in other classes, never less than a B but in his class I get C-'s! Hes a joke

One of the WORST professors I've ever had. 6 page lesson plans, which are a joke...4 page papers that are single spaced...He acts like your only taking his class and you don't have to do any other work for other classes. His grading is terrible and you never really understand why you get marked down. DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY.

One of the best professors that I have had. He does not have his favorites and you are assessed on quality. If you turn in junk and just throw something together then you will get a poor grade. If you do your work and put some effort into it then you will get a good grade. Bottom line is you get back what you put in. I would take him again.

Instructor was very helpful in and out of class. The lesson plans that we had to do were long but I learned so much. This was one of the few EDU co-horts I felt earned the credit fee. I would take another class with this instructor. I found him humerous, helpful, and sincere. He is quiet until you get to know him. Hated the Moon Journal!!!

He's not bad like everyone says. Just do what he wants. He has everything clearly outlined. Just follow the rubrics and 5E instruction and you will have no problem. It really was a fun class, the moonjournal was a pain, but easy to do well on. Just talk in class, and he'll like you.

Showed partiality-had one favorite group. They recieved 98% the rest of the class got 80%. The assignments are very unclear and way too long. Don't bother calling him he not once returned my phone calls. Very poor instructor-Don't take him!!
